Payment Summaries Due - 06.07.15

Employers are required to lodge an annual payment summary for all workers whom they have withheld tax from.

The payment summary must detail:

  • Total payments made to the employee within the financial year.
  • Total tax withheld from those payments.

These may be either electronic or in paper form. Employers may also have to report the taxable value of the fringe benefits the business provides on the workers’ payment summary.

IMPORTANT DATES

Payment Summaries are required to be given to the employee by:                             14th July 2015

Payment summary Statements are due to the ATO by:                                                  14th August 2015
