Small Business Ombudsman

Small Business Ombudsman - 26.08.15

This week the senate passed legislation to establish an Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman.

The aim is that the Small Business Ombudsman will link seamlessly with business.gov.au to help small businesses easily find out about other government services and programs, including general business advice.

The functions and powers the ombudsman will have include:

  • Commonwealth wide advocate for small business and family enterprise,
  • Concierge for dispute resolution and,
  • Contributor to the development of small business friendly commonwealth laws and regulations.

During the process of implementing this legislation businesses can look to the Small Business Commissioners for assistance when in need.

Reach us via phone on: 0417 133 144 or email us at admin@admintechniqs.com.au

Once the Ombudsman is in full affect the team here at admintechniQs will provide you with the required information to get in contact with them when needed.
